The topic of “stretching” has been discussed back and forth a lot in recent decades. With the new fascia knowledge, the various stretching options have become explainable. It’s all about who wants to achieve which goal at which time. In other words, you adapt your stretching behavior to the activity that you want to perform or have already performed in the short or long term. According to current knowledge, for example, bobbing stretches in the end-degree area can be useful before high-speed strength movements, and releasing long-stretching stretches afterwards. General fascial stretching basically extends the range of movement. Different directions and forms of stretching loosen adhesions in the fascia and balance the body areas. This in turn leads to free mobility. Previously restricted functionality can be restored or prevented in advance.

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed moving a lot and have always been curious, actively practicing several different sports such as dance, martial arts and obstacle courses. What I like best about working with the body and movement is that you can look at it from different angles, which always work together and thus unfold the entirety of the wonderful body and its (movement) possibilities. Discovering THE FASCIA has given me many aha moments on different levels – I have been able to begin to illuminate and categorize things that were previously vague and obscure – it is simply wonderful!

and the guiding principle: “Know what you do, then you can do what you want” has inspired and enthused me from the very beginning at FASZIO®. I like the freedom it gives me to move however I like without restriction. I really enjoy moving in a variety of ways in my everyday life. My work as a yoga therapist with my clients is always about stepping out of familiar patterns of movement and thinking to make new experiences possible. A deeply fascial process. For me, FASZIO® is much more than a movement strategy, it has become an attitude in my life.

FASZIO® fascinates and inspires me! I’m Juliane and I’m part of theFASZIO® yoga team, theFASZIO® therapy area and I’m particularly interested in the fascial pathways. I have always been interested in the big picture, so I qualified as a non-medical practitioner and completed various trainer licenses, including a yoga teacher training course and a Pilates trainer course. In my practice I work with connective tissue massage, an energetic treatment to clear emotions and theFASZIO® therapy concepts. Since I joined theFASZIO® team, I have learned something new every day about the connections in our bodies and about the connection between body and mind. This inspiration flows into my work as a healing practitioner and trainer every day and I love to pass it on!

As part of theFASZIO® team and studying the importance of our fascial structures in the body, I have experienced many new approaches to treatment and therapy. New therapeutic procedures such asFASZIO® Massage,FASZIO® Flossing andFASZIO® Cupping have been an excellent development of the techniques I have been using in my practice as a non-medical practitioner and movement therapist. New techniques mean new approaches to prevention and rehabilitation. We pass onthis new perspective on the body and movement in seminars at FASZIO®. We offer advanced training courses in which scientifically sound specialist knowledge about fascia and its treatment options is imparted.

Movement and sport have been with me my whole life. Various movement experiences, including in different martial arts, laid the foundation for my passionate love of gymnastics. After a career as a stuntman and training as a physiotherapist, I came into contact with fascia and its treatment. One milestone was becoming a K-Active Europe Instructor in Kinesiology Taping. FASZIO® fascinated me right from the start. We continue to create “Natural Born Moves” with comprehensive, scientifically based fascia know-how . My passion has now become my vocation.

Hi, I’m Lena and part of the great FASZIO® team. I realized early on that the complexity of the body cannot be described simply in terms of muscles and bones, as all systems can only function as a unit. FASZIO® showed me a new perspective on the body and clarified connections. In my specialist areas of nutrition, fitness and now in my training as a naturopath, this knowledge is incredibly helpful in understanding the body. My enthusiasm to learn more about fascia and its importance is growing every day and I look forward to everything to come.

Hello, I’m Astrid. I think it’s really good to bepart of FASZIO® because so many of my interests come together here! I’ve been practicing yoga for 30 years, I’ve been a shiatsu therapist for 20 years and I’ve been studying meridians for as long as I can remember. There has never been any explanation as to what meridians really are, but now we are discovering tissue structures that run along the meridians based on the courses of the fascial pathways. This inspired me to help develop a particularly fascinating concept: FASZIO® Yoga! On top of that, as a naturopath, healthy nutrition is very important to me, so it was easy for me tofillFASZIO® Detox with holistic content with the help of my talented colleagues!

FASZIO®

and me… that was fate! My sporting life began with judo at the tender age of 4 and was pretty colorful. Whether it was inline skating, dance school, ju-jutsu, group fitness or the many long disco nights, everything was unique and gave me something I wouldn’t want to miss. I came across many sporting approaches during this time and although they seemed to contradict each other, many of them worked somehow. My scientist’s heart demanded an answer and luckily one of my trainer training courses was the FASZIO® course and the question mark in my head finally disappeared. With the science of fascia and the 7 strategies, suddenly everything made sense! It was immediately clear to me that I wanted to take part and get involved and I can now live out my interests and the world of movement and health in as many different ways as I want. I love the fact that the FASZIO® team translates science into practice and is always curious to discover and experience new things and put them straight back into practice.
